How to Register as a Tutor on ServX: A Step-by-Step Step Guide for Beginners

To maintain a secure community for students and parents, ServX requires a secure KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process to register as a tutor.

Here is a complete guide to getting your tutor profile approved in less than 24 hours.

What You Need Before You Start

To ensure your application is approved quickly without any rejections, make sure you have the following ready:

• A valid National ID (NID) card, or a Passport, or Driving License.
• A profile for your account. (You can change it anytime)
• A well-lit environment to take a quick verification selfie (Not for profile picture, just to verify that you match with the documents).
• Your permanent/current personal location details (home division, district, phone, birthday).

Step-by-Step ServX Tutor Registration Process

Step 1: Download the App and Create an Account

Open the ServX app on your smartphone. You will see the introductory login screen.

• If you are new, tap Let’s create next to "Don't have an account?".
• Alternatively, you can sign up instantly by clicking Continue with Google.

Step 2: Choose Your Role

Now the app will ask you to define how you want to use the platform.

• Select Service Provider ("Earn money by providing services to others").
• Tap Continue.

Step 3: Select Your Identification Document

To protect the integrity of the platform, you must verify your identity. Choose the document you have on hand:

• National ID (Most Recommended for Bangladesh)
• Passport
• Driving License

Step 4: Fill in Your Personal Information

Next, you'll arrive at the form screen. This step is critical:

• Profile Picture: Upload a clean and professional photo of yourself. This will be visible to everyone (You can alwasys change it later).
• Full Name: Type your name exactly as it appears on your official NID card.
• Phone Number & Date of Birth: Enter your active mobile number and correct birthdate.
• Location Fields: Select your correct Nationality and your current residential Division.

⚠️ Important Note: This section asks for your personal residential location to verify who you are, not your preferred tuition tuition/service area. You can set up your preferred tuition zones later!

Step 5: Upload Your ID Photos

In this step you will need to provide clear pictures of your document you choose previously (NID / Passport / Driving license):

• Tap Take a photo under Upload Front Side and snap a clear image of the front of your NID.
• Do the same for the second picture & upload the back of your NID.
• Tip: Ensure there is no camera flash glare covering your name or ID number, The texts should be clear and make sure the file size is under 25 MB.

Step 6: Complete the Face Verification Selfie (it's NOT your profile picture)

You will now be asked to capture a selfie.

• Crucial Rule: This selfie is not your public profile picture! It is strictly used by the ServX backend system to match your face with your NID photo for safety checks. It will never be shown to the public or any customer. So without hesitation take a clear picture or you. We just want verify that it's really You.
• Make sure you aren't wearing a cap or heavy sunglasses, keep your phone steady, and stand in a well-lit room before capturing selfie.

Step 7: Submit and Wait for Approval

Congratulations! You will see the confirmation screen.

The ServX team manually reviews all tutor profiles in Bangladesh to eliminate fake accounts. The review process usually takes up to 24 hours.
